Bayelsa Decides : Tajudeen Obasa Congratulates Dickson

Following the declaration of Governor Seriake Dickson as the winner of the keenly contested Bayelsa polls by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the lawmaker representing Ojo Federal Constituency in the lower legislative chamber,Hon. Tajudeen Obasa has congratulated him for his triumph despite the several challenges encountered.




Obasa, who is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) expressed his gratitude to the good people of Bayelsa for the confidence reposed in the largest party in Africa.

In a statement released by his media aide, Mr Opeyemi Ahmed, the lawmaker urged the countryman governor to rise to the tempo in delivering more dividends of democracy to the good people of the glory of all lands.

" Victory earned by Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at this point in time is needed to stabilize democracy in the land, the message from this election is a reflection that PDP remains the party of the people."

"The re-erection of the party's flag on the swearing-in date,February 14,2016 in the Creek Haven will surely bring good tidings to Bayelsans, loyal supporters of the party and progressive Nigerians who believe in the principle of rule of law"

In the same vein, the lawmaker appreciated the immediate past president of the country, Goodluck Jonathan for his display of fatherly role in the just concluded election.
